Telkom University is committed to being able to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program through the application of course materials related to SDGs. According to Curricullum 2020, several courses taught to students aim to increase understanding of the SDGs, including:
1. Course FDK3BAB2 Sustainability Fashion: The Sustainable Fashion course supports SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production by providing students with knowledge about the environmental and social impacts of the fashion industry, as well as solutions for creating more responsible production practices. Additionally, this course supports SDG 13: Climate Action by encouraging students to develop fashion production methods that reduce carbon footprints and help mitigate environmental damage caused by the fashion industry. (Taught in Bachelor Degree of Crafting Skill).
2. Course BAK4XBB3 Strategic Supply Chain and Sustainability: Supporting SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by prioritizing supply chain strategies that promote environmental and social sustainability. (Taught in Bachelor Degree of Industrial Engineering)
3. Course DAK7CBB4 SUSTAINABILITY MARKETING: This course teaches sustainable marketing strategies, essential for promoting more environmentally friendly consumption and production.(Taught in Master Degree of Informatics Engineering)
4. Course ABK9DAB3 Sustainable Development Studies: Supporting SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities): Promoting the development of sustainable cities and communities. (Taught in Doctoral Degree of Informatics Engineering)
5. Course GGK3FAB2 Sustainability Hotel: This course aims to prepare students with insights into the role of the hotel industry in supporting sustainable development by reducing the environmental risks associated with hotel business operations.(Taught in Vocational Studies of Hotel and Hospitality Degree
6. Course EDK3NAB3 Community Psychology for Sustainable Development Program: This course supports the role of psychology in creating inclusive and sustainable communities, assisting in development that aligns with the needs of local populations and the environment.(Taught in Bachelor Degree of Psychology)
7. Course FGK6EBB2 Sustainability Design: The Sustainable Design course supports SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production by teaching students to design products that are efficient, environmentally friendly, and minimize negative impacts on the environment. Additionally, this course also contributes to SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, as it encourages innovation in sustainable design and supports the development of more responsible and sustainable industries.(Taught in Master Degree of Design)
8. Course ABK4QBB3 Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development: Supporting SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy and SDG 13: Climate Action through learning about renewable energy solutions to reduce environmental impacts. (Taught in Bachelor Degree of Electrical Engineering)
9. Course AFK4BAB3 Renewable Electrical Energy: This course falls under the Energy and Systems program. It covers renewable electrical energy systems, which directly support SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) by providing students with an understanding of the utilization of renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and other sustainable energy systems.(Taught in Bachelor Degree of Energy System)
