Ensuring Equal Opportunities: Telkom University’s Inclusive Student Admission Policies

Telkom University has a policy regarding the acceptance of new students from all economic groups which is emphasized in several internal regulation :

1. Attachment from YPT Telkom Management Board Regulation No. PDP. 1616/01/DHE-PD01/YPT2021 concerning Scholarship Policy Articles 34 and 36, regarding types of social assistance scholarships, and KIP scholarships aimed at students which classified within low income group or students affected by natural disasters

2. Telkom University Regulation KR.686/AKD2/SAR-AMS/2022 regarding the determination of student admission which state that Telkom University New Student Admissions are based on the principle of equity including from a socio-economic perspective with equal opportunities for all.

3. Telkom University targeted acceptance approximately students from bottom 20% of Parents Household Income Group Range of less than $66 per month (Bottom financial quintile admission target) as stated at the picture.
