One of our efforts to improve community welfare is through food security for Indonesia’s sustainable development. Telkom University is present through innovations and various activities aimed to increase agricultural productivity and implemented a Smart Edufarm program. We also assist local producers in increasing their marketing process.
Five Telkom University students implemented the Smart Edufarm program, using IoT Technology to promote agriculture in Bojongsari Village. The program, which was presented at the PKM-PM competition, includes developing greenhouse systems and training sessions to empower the local community, targeting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goal of Zero Hunger. The initiative partners with the Schole Fitrah Community Learning Center and focuses on housewives, youth, and children.
Telkom University, in partnership with PT Telkom Indonesia's CDC Unit, has handed over innovative tools to Tarumajaya Village, aimed at improving waste recycling and food security. The initiative includes an eco-friendly incinerator and a hydroponic-aquaponic system, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals. This collaboration marks the beginning of Tel-U's commitment to societal improvement through innovative solutions.
