In creating high quality education, we build a disabled- environment, strengthen the learning process with the support of technology, and create a center of knowledge and improve the accessibility and quality of education for community. Embracing the role of education in the era of Society 5.0, the utilization of digital technologies such as the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Virtual/Augmented Reality (VR/AR) has become a necessity.
A lecturer from the Faculty of Applied Science at Telkom University (Tel-U), Rio Korio Utoro, has created an educational toy for children called MARGA. MARGA is an educational game designed to introduce animals, combining both software and hardware to enhance early childhood understanding of animals. this game is equipped with a magic box and animal dolls that utilize
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology to implement tangible interaction. MARGA offers a new learning experience that makes education more engaging. With the flexibility to access learning materials anytime and anywhere, parents and teachers can easily introduce children to the fascinating world of animals.
Additionally, A lecturer from the Faculty of Informatics at Telkom University (Tel-U), Dr. Kusuma Ayu L, has developed an innovative product called ANGKASA LMS, in collaboration with Telkom Sigma, to meet the needs of educational institutions in conducting online learning effectively and efficiently. ANGKASA LMS is a web-based application that enables educational institutions to implement an online learning system without requiring dedicated IT professionals. The ease of use provided by ANGKASA LMS is highly beneficial for educational institutions with limited human resources and operational budgets.
Some of the standout features that add value to ANGKASA LMS include its ease of installation, its ability to manage learning content, and the capability to organize courses or subjects according to the institution's curriculum.
