Collaboration with RS Oetomo Hospital: Strengthening Medical Services and Education
One of Telkom University’s key collaborations is with RS Oetomo Hospital, located in Kabupaten Bandung. The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in October 2023, focusing on the integration of education, research, community service, and healthcare development.
This cooperation enables both institutions to hold joint medical check-up programs, healthcare training sessions, public health seminars, and medical referral services that directly benefitlocal residents. The collaboration also provides students from Telkom University—especially those in health technology and biomedical engineering programs—an opportunity to participate in internships and competency-based certification programs, strengthening their readiness to work in the healthcare sector.
The MoU will remain active for three years (2023–2026), ensuring that the synergy between education and healthcare continues to create measurable social impact in West Java.
Partnership with Naluri Indonesia: Prioritizing Mental Health and Digital Well-Being
Recognizing the growing importance of mental health in academic life, Telkom University also partners with Naluri Indonesia, a digital health company focusing on psychological wellness and preventive care.
Through this collaboration, the university provides students and staff access to Naluri’s digital platform, which offers mental health assessments, counseling, and personalized wellness programs. These initiatives have reached hundreds of Telkom University students since the program’s implementation in late 2023, supporting a culture of empathy and proactive mental health care within the academic community.
This collaboration not only improves mental resilience and productivity but also reflects Telkom University’s commitment to integrating digital innovation in health education and mental well-being initiatives—a crucial step in creating a supportive and inclusive campus environment.
The parent company of Edelweiss Hospital are a breakthrough program compared to last year
To further strengthen its role in health-related education and innovation, Telkom University signed another MoU in January 2024 with PT Citra Niaga Abadi (CNA)—the parent company of Edelweiss Hospital.
This agreement encompasses a broad scope of collaboration, including education, research, community service, human resource development, training, certification, and institutional growth.
Through this partnership, Telkom University and PT CNA plan to co-develop programs in health business management, medical data systems, and sustainable hospital practices. The collaboration also aims to establish internship placements, training modules, and research funding that align academic goals with industry needs.
Valid for five years (2024–2029), this long-term cooperation ensures continued synergy between the university and private health institutions in shaping future-ready healthcare professionals.
Conclusion
Through its strategic collaborations with RS Oetomo Hospital, Naluri Indonesia, and PT Citra Niaga Abadi, Telkom University continues to make significant contributions to improving health and well-being in Indonesia. Each partnership represents a distinct focus — from medical education and healthcare access to mental health support and sustainable hospital management — demonstrating the university’s comprehensive approach to public health.
By combining education, innovation, and social responsibility, Telkom University not only supports the achievement of SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, but also fosters a collaborative ecosystem where academic institutions and healthcare providers work hand in hand to build a healthier, more resilient society.
