One of the wastes in the Telkom University environment is leaf waste which will be processed into green compost, for inorganic waste which will be processed through an incinerator machine where the combustion results from the incinerator machine will be processed again and mixed with other media to be molded into flower pots for use. used in the Telkom University environment.
To measure the amount of waste we use the Smash-Pay application. In 2023, the total leaf waste will be 305594 kg, which will produce 305594 kg of compost fertilizer. The total compost sold/distributed this year was 7390, the remainder was used for internal consumption.
By processing organic and anorganic trash internally, no more waste is thrown outside the Telkom University environment.
